Mathew 19:14 – Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Behold children are a heritage from the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Children are precious and as a church we give lot of importance to nurturing children in the right way – which is in the ways of the Lord. We read in 1 Samuel 2:26, that the child Samuel grew in stature and in favour both with the LORD, and also with men. This is what we aspire for all our children.
As part of the Children ministry – we prayerfully conduct :-
- Sunday school – Sunday 9:00 – 9:45 am (1 Saturday per month – 5:00 – 6:00 pm)
- Vacation Bible Schools
- One day camps
Through this ministry we hope to :-
- Provide a good foundation for them through systematic teaching of the Bible
- Teach them to be emotionally and spiritually mature through the Word
- Teach them the importance of having a good prayer life
- Ultimately lead them to salvation and provide a good foundation for their journey with God.
- Equip them to be good witnesses for Christ.
In this age, Satan has targeted children to rob them of their innocence and even their very identity by flooding the world with filth and confusion. We have a great responsibility to pray for and guide our children.
