Welcome

Canberra Pentecostal Church is a Bible-Based Church.

We are Bible-based in the sense that we seek our beliefs and mould our lifestyle on explicit doctrines of the Bible or on Biblical principles. The basic and fundamental doctrine of our Church shall be the Bible’s standard of full salvation, which is repentance, Confession of faith, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Baptism in Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterances. We practice our declaration of faith and witness for the Lord to evangelize and make disciples. The Canberra Pentecostal Church (CPC) proclaims Bible truth in Pentecostal power in order to exalt the Lord, edify the church, and evangelise the world. We take our responsibilities as a Church seriously and pledge our continuing efforts to stay strong on the Bible’s truth and teachings without any compromise whatsoever that may influence the holiness of life and holiness of doctrines.

Canberra Pentecostal Church has its birth in the mind of few believers who wished to have a Christian prayer fellowship among the Malayalee residents of Canberra. Their earnest prayers and fervent faith and trust in the promises of God were finally answered so graciously and the first service of Canberra Pentecostal Church was graced to be conducted at the Tamil Seniors Association Hall at Issacs, Canberra on 25th April 2010.
